hubby went for surgery
May 20, 2009 by Hambayuti™
okay. no fancy blog today. not that i’ve ever written one. haha. well, i just want to let everyone know that my hubby finally went for his eye surgery early morning (today). it went well. he’s currently resting, anesthesia has worn off and he’s getting grouchy. uhhmmm…come to think of it, he’s usually grouchy even without surgery and anesthesia wearing out. harharhar. so, “he’s back” to his usual self, i guess. good sign. hehe. moving on. so, he was an out patient and is only required to go back tomorrow for his bandage removal and follow-up check-up. hopefully (and praying) everything goes back to normal as far as his eyesight goes. wouldn’t want him forgetting how beautiful(?) i look. plus, i’m not sure if i could really take “love is blind” literally. joke done in bad taste? but, really, that would break my heart. what can i do? i finally really really reaaallllyy heart the guy…
soooo, no pictures for you. i really don’t have the heart to take some while his eyes are bandaged. well…actually…i keep laughing whenever i try to take them. there! nothing mean. just being honest. it’s just that he looks so helpless at 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. he’s like a huge baby zombie or something. soooo, again, sorry…no pictures to share. unless…unless…you insist that i send you one. haha. then perhaps i could think about it. or maybe, i can ask him and tell him it’s for his mom…or my mom…and he’ll say yes.
anyway, until then…sincerely thanking everyone for all the overwhelming concern and kind words. i deeply, deeply appreciate all the text messages, ims and phone calls. can’t believe i have such great family and friends! i’m also grateful for having considerate bosses and colleagues - the extended assistance is of great help. you’ve all been very good to me. makes me one happy bitch…
^_______^
cheers!
p.s.
bravura! to dr. ibrahim mosad abdel moati - opthalmic surgeon consultant - of doha clinic hospital. thanks, doc!…and apologies if my hubby spoiled medicine or broke any of the machines at your clinic. he told me about it. t’was funny. (long story…let’s keep it for another day)

Hey! I hope your husband is alright and that he recovers 100%.
Stay strong. And patient.
