A: the phone
B: yes, it rings.
A: can you answer it?
B: no. people are particularly stupid today. i can’t talk to them.
A: oh, go talk to them!
B: fine, but i won’t talk to them nicely.
A: yes you will.
B: no.
A: hmmm. you sure know how to keep a grudge.
B: yeah, it burns more calories…
A: (stares and then looks away)
a minute later…
B: stop staring at me!
A: i’m not staring!
B: well, if you don’t stop looking i would just have to poke your third eye…
A: (sigh)(walks away)
